98 FIrebird Formula joining in!
After weeks of reading and learning as much as I can, I finally picked up a LS1 powered vehicle. 98 Firebird Formula A4. 125K mi pretty much stock.
I will be completing some preventative maintenance and making sure everything is solid before I spend money on performance upgrades, mostly splitting it up into stages.
Stage 1:
-Fluid changes (oil, tranny, rear end)
-removal of crap and dirt in the engine bay and under carriage.
-replacing worn out bushings with polyurethane (is there a kit that covers most of it?)
-transmission mount to poly (shes worn out)
-wash and wax and enjoy the damn thing!
-BMR lowering springs
-Koni yellows? (Researching whats the setup for track but decent backroads action)
Stage 2:
-SLP Lid
-TSP 1 7/8 Longtube/TSP ORY to the flowmasters on it.
-UMI suspension parts
Stage 3:
-ZR1 staggered wheels and tires
-Need more money

For the tune up and overall checks what else should I take a look into replacing?
