newbie from Az Hi I'm a newbie to this Ls or Lq world I just recently pick up a 6.0 not sure if it's a lq4 or lq9 how can I tell the difference between the 2? And my next question is. Is this a good can swap XR273HR-12 and what HP gain will the 6.0
Where in Arizona? I'm in Mesa. Just joined today myself.
Too many variables to answer the "what would my horsepower be if" - especially with cams. I think that is a good cam - definitely better than the stock one, but if you get it, your intake will really be holding you back. There is a sticky in one of the new guy forums that has a whole bunch of info about the upgrades and what order you should do them in written by guys who have already made the mistakes and learned the lessons.
