New to the LS1 Camaro and here I bought a 1972 base Camaro a year ago and doing a restore on it, I was looking on Craig's list to find a LS1 motor for it when I found a second "female" owner 2000 Black Z28 that she bought in 2001off the original owner, it has 98,000 miles and she didn't drive in the snow it's very clean. I bought it for a little more then what most used LS/trans combos are going for. It's going to be my 3 season DD. I want to do some of the free mods and some of the $ mods but I can't get carried away because the 2nd. Gen still needs some love. 1st mod for it a used Black SS hood that I'm picking up this coming week end and looking for a SS rear spoiler. Thanks in advance for all of the Info and help I'm sure I'll be getting from this forum.

Sounds like a nice combo, you'll probably want to check out the conversions and hybrids section. Lots of insights there and amazing fab work. Welcome to the site and feel free to ask questions. Any pics of the car?
