Another newbie
Another newbie I have been lurking around for a few weeks now. I am gathering information so I will not ask questions that have been beat to death already.
I am not new to a 4th gen, I had a LT1 m6 formula 96 model (sold). I just purchased a 99 model z28 m6 to start a racecar project with. I have owned many street/strip cars over the years. I am not interested in battling the state laws/inspections and still have something that puts a smile on my face at the track. This camaro will be built for strip use only.
A few details about the car. I picked it up very cheap due to a blown motor with a busted piston (so block is trashed). The other problem with the car was the k-member was removed by previous owner to replace a bent k-member in his SS camaro. The transmission, computer,sensors and harness all seem to be there and in good shape.

obviously the car was not a roller on dry rotted flat tires so I bolted on a new set of racestar wheels and 28x10.5 hoosier slicks and front runners
I still have a long way to go before it is ready to hit the track. I am sure I will be a regular on here gathering information.
