new(ish) guy from chicago area
Now I have a fairly good knowledge of F-Bodys as probably 8 or more of my friends own or have owned them in the past..and I know they are great platforms and fairly easy to modify and make a fast/fun street car out of. I'm not terribly picky about Z28 vs SS vs formula vs trans am and don't have any specific color in mind..I'm just basically looking for a solid car to start with that's under $10K and would prefer to have some basic bolt ons already done (always cheaper to buy one done rather than buy a stocker and do all the basic stuff to it). I currently have my eye on a few cars on craigslist, and wanted some opinions on them..so ill get on to posting the ads..

now I'm sure alot of you guys scan craigslist just as much as I do..so if anyone knows of this car feel free to shout it out and tell me whatever there is to know about it..the ad lists some basic bolt ons which I like, especially the rediculously expensive kooks true duals..only thing that scares me is the mileage..how do these cars fair once the mileage gets in upwards of 100K? what are the usual weak points that need to be addressed? I can forsee it needing a suspension rebuild, and maybe a new clutch if it hasn't been done..anything else??

THIS car i reallly like..as much as some probably hate the color, I like it and i especially like the rarity of it, this seems like a solid unmolested car with good mileage..does this sound like a fair price? lemme know what you guys think!
also for anyone who's curious, here's my current ride..sorry no pic of the truck on my photobucket account

also my buddies 00 WS6
for the 02, there's just not a lot of info in that ad about the car, so i'd really have to take a long close look at it to confirm what condition its in.
just gotta keep looking and expand how far you're willing to go to get the car.
as far as what happens after 100k miles - it depends on how well they took care of it, but i wouldn't let the 100k mile stigma bother me.
