Hey, guy with a delorean. Hey guys, glad to be part of this community!
Although I will not be the first person with a Delorean to swap in an LS motor, I am excited to start on this project! My plans are:
L33 motor
Custom bellhousing to Renault UN1 transaxle
Megasquirt 3 ecu
I currently am running megasquirt on my engine so it will be a mostly mechanical swap. The first step of the project is sourcing a LT1 T56 bellhousing to use as a base for my custom bellhousing. It will be pretty heavily modified, but eliminate the need for a custom flywheel, pilot bearing adapters, and bellhousing adapters as used in the other swaps. Not sure when I can post in the wanted section though.
Anyway that is my plan in a nutshell. just looking for more power while staying N/A and using a much more common engine than the old PRV. Wish me luck!
