new here needing help hey all new and needing help on a project. I'm wanting to swap a v8 into my 94 gmc 1500 swb it currently has the 4.3 v6 with a 5 speed manual. I want to keep the 5 speed when I swap the motors and I've already checked on key parts (altenator,starter etc etc) just need to know if I'm headed for disaster or can this be pulled off with little or no fuss. thanks in advance for any advice that is given

If your on a set budget sbc be easier as most everything swaps over. I don't know about bellhousing problems but Im sure you can get a complete/motor easy enough. Then get conversion mounts foe Ls to sbc to bolt it in. If you go DBW throttle get the gas pedal, tach box & wiring, along with pcm. Need all to match each other rear wise.
