Hello everyone new from AZ Hello folks. Iv been kicking around buying a 98 z28 camaro that has 140k miles. I have never had one of these ls1 cars but have always wanted one. So I'm just checking in to make sure with the people that know about these cars , my hope is that these motors are Chevy strong. And that it will be a good choice to go head and buy her. If it's been maintained and driven nicely it should be fine for a little while longer. If it was owned by some teen, and all modified I would run the other way. They tend to burn a little oil as they get older, but it should obvious if the engine runs "strong", or if its running on hopes and dreams when you test drive it. If it seems in good working order, or if you get it for the right price go for it!
