Hey guys im gonna be doing a LQ9/4L60E swap on my 70 El Camino. Figured I could get aot of questions answered here. This is kinda a craigslist project car. I got the car, all hotchkis suspension, and my LQ9 and 4l60e off craigslist. Got them all as failed projects im gonna fix up. Its amazing what people give up on. Here she is. welcome to site. look over conversion hybrid section lots of chevelle stuff done. I know to tell you not to use GM muscle car pan as it sits below crossmember. Also truck steering pump pulley will need to be changed out for clearance to steering box issue. Dorman 300-130 works and parts store or on ebay. Looks like a solid elco to start with.
