New to this forum need some advise on my build...
Wanna build a LS383 already have some parts, forged K1 4.00" stroke crank, forged K1 6.125" h beam rods, forged diamond 3.905" bore nitrous dome Pistons, dart pro 1 heads (I know they're not the best), PEP dual springs, Manley stainless steel valves, comp cams single row timing chain, looking into a powerglide, it's all going into a 1/8 mile drag car. Should I stick to my 5.3 block or invest in a summit racing aluminum ls1 block? Any advice or suggestions welcomed!!!
