I'm new to this site (this is my first post) and I am looking to start a dream I procrastinated until now. I plan on purchasing a 98-02 trans am either this coming winter or the next. My intentions are to gear it towards drag racing but still have it be enjoyable to ride around town in. What are some of your guys' builds, and also is it true the 5.7 motors are not good for racing? I will be looking to supercharge it so if that means buying/building a new block I'd like to know that before I purchase a car.
