Hey guys, my name is Don, Im 48, married 20 years, former Marine, twin daughters and I live in rural South Carolina. Im an Engineer by day and a farmer by night. I just bought an 02 ss vert, SOM last month. My first and newest sencond car. I have been working on old cars most of my life, had a 67 Chevelle, a 71 Corvette and a 71 Chevelle that I just sold. I kind of got tired of fixing things all the time so I got the 2002 Camaro. Ill be looking mostly for tech tips and repair help I think, I dont plan to mod anything on it at this time but I already know there is something wrong with the 'Steam crossover?' or something like that? Ill get info and ask silly questions on the tech page. see you around I hope.

I think thats what it is, yes. The guy I cought the car from pointed it out to me under the hood after we looked at the code on his OBDII reader. He said it is a clogged like or something? He wasnt the most mechanical guy and I dont have any experience with the LS1. How do I fix it?

I dont remember but he showed me the hose on the back of the left head and said it was the valve in there or something? I really need to get one of those code readers I guess, never had a car that I needed it on until now. I can take a picture of it after work and post up what it was he pointed at and see if it makes sense.
