Newb intro Hey guys,
I'm just saying hi, seems like a very knowledgable group of guys here. I do a lot of searching and learning. I'm going to be starting a turbo project here soon, and I'm sure I'll have questions so I thought this may be handy.
Plans :
2009 Silverado RCSB
Body:
22" wheels
4/6 drop (mcgaughys kit)
Roll pan
Silverado SS front bumper and side skirts (street scene)
Engine/ drive train
KB racing beginner turbo kit 72mm turbo
FM intercooler
Performance cam (undecided on a particular one)
Performance valve springs
Bigger fuel pump ( either 255x2 or a1000, undecided)
80# injectors
Custom exhaust
4l80e trans from a HD Truck
Some kind of heavy diff with posi trac.
Turbo kit, lowering kit, roll pan Are all bought and paid, just waiting till I can afford remaining parts before I begin the build.
Currently doing research on cam type and pump type, open to suggestions.
Looking forward to meeting some interesting guys who know their s**t.
