LS Cutlass in the works. Thanks for all the great info everyone.
I'm Mark from the Chicago suburbs. I run a small lab and only work half days (8 to 8 usually)
My wife bought us a 1970 cutlass supreme this spring at the Madison Classics swap meet in Jefferson county WI
ls1tech has inspired me to purchase a perfect donor 2005 gmc2500. Rough body, rough interior, smooth lq4 / 4L80.
So now that the easy work is done, its time to get my hands dirty.
This should be a fun time, and a bit different from my honda swap days.
I'm sure I'll get alot of help here, and I hope to be able to contribute as well.
I can be a bit introverted on the web, but not in person usually. If you're from around the area say hi.

hey im by cedar rapids iowa. i been to jefferson swapmeet pretty big. my advise is keep everything from truck. Bolts, brackets, overflow bottle, hoses, gas pedal & tach box short wiring between. box is on firewall between brakes and fender. save the wiring for engine then you can take it apart using LT1Swap.com info. mite need driveshaft yoke too. Possible to use some of gas line if isnt rusty junk. questions ask away.

Thanks for the info Larkman. lt1swap has pretty much any info you'd need for harnesses. Looks like a great resource.

im in process of doing my old squarebody 4door. motor tranny down in bolted up now. now to get dry days to work on it. i repositioned tranny crossmember back 1 1/2 inches so driveshaft yoke be in tranny enough. now hard part done its onto everything else. get some pics up and i get mine up start thread.
