Hello from Bluefield Wv
Hello everyone my name is Ben. I'm currently building a 5.3 for my 85 C10. The block is on the stand waiting for a new cam and such. Wanting to turbocharge it in the future. Anyway here is the truck.

Yes 2 questions, can u post pictures of your build? I was also wondering, I'm going with dirty dingo adjustable mounts but will my LS mount to the existing 4.3 frame mounts the truck came with? One more, I have all my wiring along with the ecu, did u wire yours up yourself or did someone else do it for you? I want to wire mine so that it has full engine functionality when it comes to fuel injection and will also allow me to pull codes and start tuning. Ill also be installing new cam, lifters, push rods, and valve springs.

I used mounts from ebay. listing number 321800956689 metaltekmfg is seller $64.99 they are slotted both on block and thru bolt. you can probably move your mount stands foward to v8 holes to be drop in. headers I used are shorty style fit great. listing number 331390579579 $185 speedracingturbo is seller. wiring i did using LT1Swap.com info. pcm connectors have numbers on each wire port hole. mark your connectors on side if its green, blue or red. that way not mix up. I have a suburban tank in my truck. it already injected tank so im changing out pump for correct one. if your switching to a 4L60E with electric speedometer get a 91 suburban dash cluster as it has electric speedo. I dont have my truck going yet so im in short time to get it. My truck is from pieces nothing on mine come together. look at my profile pic there. can call if want. 319-202-0216 Richard I now have thread started in conversion section 88crew shortbox more door project

I went ahead and got my valve stem seals today. Going to take the valves out and get the heads tanked, checked, then decked. Would like to get the chambers swirl polished but I'm not sure yet. Block needs degreased and resealed still.
