hello ive decided to stop lurking Well hello all my names Brandon i just bought a 96 trans am lt1 ive been lurking around the page and reading everything i can for the past 2 weeks im a mechanic by trade so know my way around an engine just new to the lt1 world.
the motor was just rebuilt top to bottom and has 30 miles on it when i got it tranny has a leak and probably needs rebuilt on the list of things to do rebuild kit is on its way to me. ive got a set of 1.6 rr sitting on the shelf brand new from another build that where not used was thinking of doing those with lt4 springs custom cai maf screen delete moving the cold air sensor closer to the filter and a exhaust cut out before the cat and just keep it a DD. thoughts and advise are welcome and would love feed back!
