New! Hello all! My name is Chaz. I have joined Ls1 tech seeking advice in regards to my pursuit. I am new to mechanics and completely new to the Ls world.
My pursuit: I have always loved car culture. A quality scene exists in my area regarding ls knowledge. I have an 04' reg cab short bed c1500 with the 4.3 v6 and a 5 speed. At some point when dollars add up I want to swap the stock configuration with an ls2, 4l80e trans and 383 gears. I want this truck to be a daily driver I can take the local strip on weekends.
I need quality advice as to how I can achieve this goal. More specifically: what sources can I refer to, best ways to build my knowledge base, and where to begin my pursuit overall.
