New member Hi, My name is Derek, from western new York area. I am going to be starting my engine swap in the spring. I have a 1947 ford business coupe that has a chevy 350, 2 spd power glide. I bought a 1999 Silverado 5.3 4l60e donor truck with 80,000 miles. I know this is going to be some work and have been doing some homework on it. If there is any one who has a similar vehicle (street rod) that they've done this to I would love to see pics or know how it came out and the pitfalls along the way. Thanks in advance.

welcome to site. Ls probably drop in somewhat easy in sbc mounts. You will have to try it in there and see what fits. Lt1Swap.com has great wiring info to use truck harness. Save all you can from truck as lots of little stuff ads up in cost. Post some pics.
