Default Hello everybody!

Hello, I'm new to this LS scene and was thinking about swapping one into my 75 nova. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm looking for advice on which oil pan, headers, and wiring. Thanks in advance!!!!

hi welcome to site. I have 76 skylark same as your nova. Not sure what to say on oil pan. I used the Gm muscle car pan, but not happy its lower than crossmember. Also I used plates with sbc mount, to do again I would use slotted engine mounts to drop on sbc mounts. Plates made motor wider than mounts on frame factory placed. Mine is 2006 L33 5.3/ 4L65E combo. DBW throttle, modified truck harness using Lt1Swap.com site. Bone stock with street tune. Plates made motor sit higher but then ran into inner tie rod hitting pan one way when turning. I put spacer under frame mounts to fix that. Hood shuts but barely clear high mounted alternator. Truck brackets. Steering need smaller pulley--hit steering box. Headers I used is the $180 china made on ebay. Actually decent pieces. Clear everything no problem. Exit by bellhousing. Im using 98-02 v-8 Camaro radiator/electric fan set up. Truck water pump with 2006 Chevy SSR upper hose. I have my engine set forward far as could going by oil pan for clearing. Tranny at where tailcone bolts on just get fingers around tranny for clearance. Add me on friend list I help you best can.
