Hello Good Folks

My name is Jon (IRONHEAD-67) age 42 from Oklahoma. Been a gear head all my life. My number 1 car is my 1967 gold Camaro called "Brass Monkey". This car was bought by my Grandpa new Dec. 1966 and I replaced his name on the title. The Monkey is powered by a '01 LS-1 5.7 with stock bottom end, custom ground Smallwood n2o cam, 706 heads (to up compression), Victor intake, QFT e85 850 carb, Edelbrock RPM nitrous system (150 jet), th350 and 3.90 gears. Went 10.59@116mph with rev limit @ 6500 (hit limiter @ 1000 ft) 11.52@113mph on motor (same limiter issue) Fixed program, but found out a piston was down on my "junkyard motor". So it's getting new rings, gapped for n2o, upgraded fasteners, and oil pickup retainer.

I was diagnosed with an incurable neurological disease call Trigeminal Neuralgia. This car is what brings a little bit of joy to my life on the few days I can enjoy it. Enjoy talking with gearheads of like mines as well (just don't happen enough).
