FNG from Kansas New member from Kansas here. Mostly using the site for reference purposes. I come from a sheet metal fabrication shop and aircraft mechanic background. Fully licensed A&P mechanic, few years of experience before switching over to the family business, a small 30+ employee fabrication job shop.
I have a 1991 Z28 Camaro 5.7/TPI/700R4. A 1988 V20 factory 5.7TBI 4spd manual suburban,lockers,etc and 1968 Ford Mustang coupe, bored,balanced,blueprinted 302/builtC4.
Joined because I am pursuing an LQ4 swap for the camaro. TPI is on its last legs and it makes sense to move up to a more modern power plant. There is a 6.0 swap in the future for the suburban as well. I should be picking up a 2006 LQ4 here shortly. Definitely looking for advice, camaraderie, and any friends locally to talk shop with.
