So the situation is that I have a 2002 4.8L ls1 with a 4wd 4l60e, I also have a 1996 6.5L turbo diesel with a 2wd 4l80e. Would I be able to put the 4l80e on the Ls1? what would I need to do enable to do the swap? I was thinking about putting a full manual valve body in the 4l80e so I don't need to mess with the computers.also I've found "adaptive flex plates" but I'm also worried about the torque converters stall being that it's coming out of a diesel. Would I be able to get an adaptive torque converter and where would be a good, cheap place to find parts? I am only 18 so I'm on a limited budget.
