Greetings from The Golden State I just started posting on here, so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Dave and I have an 04 GTO. I've had the car for almost 3 years now. It's come a long way since I first picked it up, and still has a long way to go. I have a build thread over on LS1GTO if anybody wants to check it out:

I recently was going to install a cam kit and new lifters, but upon teardown I found the block to be looking pretty worn. So I took it in for a rebuild and found out the block was shot. In lieu of this new info, I decided to go big. After a few emails with my tuner, I've decided on a 416 LS3 stroker with TEA 235 heads and a custom grind cam with a goal of hitting over 500 to the wheels. Should be fun.
