Hi from Brisbane AU 12 months into overhaul of 2011 Holden SS-V Sportwagon flex fuel L77 (370ci). 13.5 static mid 20's AFM cam on VVT core pistons and rods built by Cragsted Racing for efficient e85 daily.
The Black Pearl is a 440 rwhp backroad road brawler hauler I love and use to tailgate my wine across the country, from small vineyards in Barossa to metro restaurant / retail centres.
Ethanol has been an uncertain hot potatoe for both Feds and pump operators in this political climate, recently peaked with a huge price advantage and good spread of availability now shrinking in favour of biodiesel and hybrids.
With 12.4 DCR I retard and blow off CR using VVT (Atkinson) when driving outback between flex stops so performance plus distance is tedious.
Keenly interest in meth injection for high CR application to cover the most barren plains faster and turn a quid like a boss from Barossa to Brisbane.
