Hi from... far away! Hi everybody, my name is Romain. I'm 31, working in the graphic design industry for roughly 12 years. I live in France and I love old american iron.
My project car is 72 Monte Carlo.
It's a California car with a venerable 350 under the hood. My plan is to do a budget swap (yet effective
) with a carbed LM7 engine. I know not everybody like carbed LS engine, but with budget in mind I think it should be cost effective.
I'm still looking for an engine.
On car-part.com I often see a lot LM7 in the $500 range.
Living in Europe is a PITA because you're charged on everything parts you buy (taxes... Yep europe loves taxes).
I also own a 84 Caprice wagon (I like it despite being a 305 car) and a 92 Buick Park Avenue as a grocery getter.
I hope to get a lot of good advices from you guys
