Hey That will be a bad a#s conversation. This 5.3 swap im doing in my 96 firebird i just bought is my first LS engine
I do know it pretty easy to wire up a stock harness so u can go fuel injection just not as clean looking as a carb set up. Ive owned fox mustangs forever lol and if this 5.3 swap goes good in this ole fire chicken then im gonna do one in a 85 mustang coupe body i got. Good luck with the build and if u need any parts just get with me cause i know i will have some left over lol

Good luck on your work as well. Yea I'm in the getting parts stage for my budget build. I'm leaning towards efi today 😜. I got a engine from a 2001 Silverado but has no wire harness pcm or anything with it. I also got a 4l60e for free but is rebuild able from a 97 Impala. If you got parts I may need some
