Unknown mods... Hey everyone, just purchased a 2001 Z28 M6 convertible 342 gears with 54000 orig miles. Mods are unknown because the person who had the car passed away. Definitely not stock but not radical either. Heads are the 241 and have been off the engine, cam has been changed, no converter, long tube headers and I'm assuming a tune. My car runs with my buddy's 2016 Corvette Stingray up to 150 then he starts pulling away. Anyone have a guess at the horsepower to be able to run the same as the vett?

A 2016 stingray will put a little over 400 hp to the wheels.
A heads, cam ls1 will put down anywhere from 420-450 hp to the wheels. So you very well may be making more power but he is a bit lighter

So I guess it's safe to assume that there have been mods done to the stock 241 heads? Also is it normal for the engine to be so noisy? It sounds like a pissed off sewing machine! Lol I'm new to this newer stuff so I apologize if I'm asking silly questions. Thanks for your input.
