New guy from Arizona I am looking for information on the differences between a 2002 GMC Envoy xl with in line six 4l60e transmission and a 2004 GMC Envoy. Both with 4x4.
The part number T280865 is only for 2002. The part number T280880 works on 2003 thru 2004. My question is can the 04 be modified to work on the 02? The 02 trany has a busted sun gear. The 04 I can get for $400.00.
One more question. How can you find out if a sun is broken if you can't drive the car?
