To Win a Bet....
Cheers all!
I've got a 1988 Jeep Cherokee XJ that I'm swapping a 2001 F-Body camaro LS1 into w/the 4L60E that came with it. Drawing on experience from Novak Conversions to make it possible.
I've got a bet going with my fellow offroader that if I can get my Jeep to perform an LS1 powered burnout by October 16th of this year, he must buy a V8 for his 1984 FJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser.
The race is on.
Glad to be a part of the LS cult/family!

Camaro FEAD with cs130 alt relocation from a turbo build i had & ls6 intake fit with a closed hood for me with novak motor mounts. No AC. I modified 98 camaro exhaust manis & they fit good. I bought a double pass rad off of ebay or somewhere like that with a taurus fan. Runs too cool right now. Just cut the lower sheet metal to make the rad fit nice.
Mine is a 6.0 4l80 & BW 4401 transfer case that I got for free.
Another trick thing was that I installed bosch 36lb injectors & set the fuel pressure to stock xj. I used all stock fuel lines/pump & the tune was spot on. I'm prob confusing you. Anyway WELCOME.
