Hi Everyone, I'm interested in learning more about LS engines, specifically I would like to put a LS engine in a 1937 Chevrolet 2 door sedan with an electronic transmission. I want this for cruising around the USA. I have a ford 8.8 rear end in it with a 3.25 gear and will be trying to find which LS would be best for this as far as gas mileage, accessories I can add to it etc. I"m old but want to learn because I think this is the way to go. So if anyone can help me get started with this please let me know.

Thanks, '37 LS

ps-Not to great with this computer either!

Welcome to the forum. I'm building a 37 Ford with an LS motor. Just click the link below to follow the build. This is a great website and you can really learn a lot. Let me know if I can help. Keith

looking for mpg a 4.8 or 5.3 will be a good choice. Less complicated is 99-early 07 trucks as the later ones use different trannys and electrical, E85 stuff, etc. Also 99-07 stuff usually a lot cheaper to buy.
