Default Onboard from Washington

Joined for the tech knowledge experiences of those of you that have gone before. Not certain if anyone has done an LS and updated transmission in a 1959 El Camino. The car is not the first choice for most builders but it has been in the family since brand new. Putting together a very streetable ride to enjoy. My dad wrenched on a top fuel car back in the day and we ran up and down the Calif. coast hitting the drags in the truck or a 1959 convertible T Bird. This build will be for Pops and my grandsons. I learned to drive in the El Camino and I want to teach my grandsons in the same car.
