5.3 swap Hello, I cannot wait to get started on my project. I pulled an 80,000 mile 5.3 with 4l60e trans out of a 99 silverado. My plans are to put an ls1 manifold and change oil pan, and drop it in My 47 ford business coupe. This is a low budget job so I would appreciate any tips thanks in advance. Derek.

hello and welcome. Oil pan I wouldn't use Gm Muscle car pan as its lower than most cross members. On the intake swap you will need the car injectors and fuel rails as well. If modifying the wiring yourself you also need to change injector plug connections. Car and truck are different. Save yourself some money on looks if you shave the garbage on truck intake.
