First LS swap
First LS swap Just wanted to introduce myself and my project. Name is Steve, from Ohio attempting first ls swap into newly acquired 79 cutlass. Not trying to go crazy on my first swap so I started with a 5.3 from a 2000 Silverado. I have already taken the block down bare and had it checked and cleaned at a local machine shop. Pretty much staying stock internals with the exception of a mild cam upgrade and l33 pistons and rods.
If all goes well I will do a more performance driven swap into my Camaro next.

Trying to measure in inches Hi guys and gals new to the page. Been a import guy most of my life. Just recently blew up my 2j swap bmw e34.
I picked up a 2010 aluminum 5.3 ,I will be on a 75mm and 4l80e . Going to be a learning curve as I don't have any us motor experience.
