Default Dayton, Ohio = Beginning

Hi, I have worked with a company in Dayton, years ago, with good results.
The name is Dayton Engineering Laboratories Company.
My history library's example of theirs is an advertisement of a device created to ignite gas lanterns used in factories, in 1914.

I could send a copy of that to you ?

Welcome,
Lance

Hi Hammered, yes and thank you for your knowledge, thus you're not "hammered".
Would you like that "copy" ?

I have sent a copy to my Delphi Purchasing agents.

I sent a VERY Early Champion Spark Plug advertisement, possibly their first (for a tractor), to the engineers at Cooper Products.
They too responded, "never seen such before"

My collection method was to locate local antique shops in the areas that I raced my F5000 Lola 332, Trans Am GT-350, Can Am Lola-333 in the Seventies.
The local shops would always have a "stor" way in the back of their shop.

Much fun, not to sure of what the locals have left today.

Lance
