New Guy here 
I am rebuilding a 1982 Chevy shortwide. Just bought a LQ4 4L80 transmission with upgraded cam. Have ton of questions, never have done this before but love getting my hands dirty. Have complete the stance and braking. Drop the truck 5.5" in the front and installed a 7" flip kit in the back put new 13" disk brakes front and back. All new steering linkage and upper and lower control arms. Running 18x8 in the front 20x10 in the back. Advice needed for engine and transmission installation.
