Hello from Vegas Hey Everyone.
Been a long time lurker of this site, especially the last 6 months during my car search.
I registered about a month ago when I finally pulled the trigger on a 99 SS.
I don't comment a lot on forums, but I'll be on here plenty from here on out to help with my new dd/toy.
Car is black 1999 Camaro SS about to hit 100k.
Known mods:
SLP lid
Hurst short shifter
Cross braced under car, but haven't been under it yet to confirm what exactly.
Flow Series 40 mufflers
3.73 rear
Skip shift light comes on, but doesn't lock out of gear. (mod?)
Infinity 62.7i speakers fronts (rest is stock garbage for now)
Car came with:
used Eibach red springs (prob sell for better)
Long tubes with y-pipe and ARP studs. I think the headers are TSP, but unconfirmed.
Car runs pretty well, with exception of some kind of tap like noise under acceleration. I'm searching to try and track down my issue.
Any Vegas people, let me know what's up locally. It'd be great to meet some people with F-body/LSx experience.

After further research, some videos, and your comment, I do believe that it's most likely an exhaust leak. It would explain why previous owner bought headers .
