New from Kirkwood, Mo Just bought a red 99 Z28 Saturday. I am 60 years old and have a long list of past hot rod type cars and some motorcycles. Quit riding last year and sold my motorcycles and have been looking for a good deal on a car since then. This car has 60,000 miles on it, is shiny, interior very good and everything works except for the CD player. The AC system had been almost totally replaced a couple years ago. It has T-tops, auto trans, posi, etc. A few small scratches and rock chips and sounds like right rear wheel bearing is needing replaced. Getting safety and emissions inspections Thursday, car show Friday. The rear end will be the first thing I modify before I put some drag radials on it. Intend to do a little bracket racing.

Nice! I am new as well. I am kind of close to you. I'm in Springfield, IL. I own a black 96 Camaro base that I swapped the entire engine/trans, interior and all the exterior I could from a 98 Z28. This site has helped me a lot!

Yeah I turned 21 not too long ago, still was a pain! A lot of late nights! Ill let you know if I am down and free. Ill be in the Alton/Jerseyville area visiting my grandmother who raised me in a couple weeks.

Come down to Gateway motorsports park for a midnight madness sometime and I will bring my car there. $25 and you can run your car if you want. They have drifting too, bring a helmet if you want to run the strip.
