New guy from New Mexico

Hi everyone,
Hope I'm not jumping the gun but I should have a answer back from the bank tomorrow but I should be the 3rd owner of a 2002 Trans Am WS6 tomorrow. This is a pic from the dealer's website. Hope to learn as much as I can here about the new car.

I would really like to make this a 11-12 second car at my local drag strip and drive it on the street as much as I can.

Where's the local dragstrip,.. you're right outside Albuquerque right?
I've only visited there a couple times.

Yes Albuquerque dragway is about 30-45 minutes away. Thanks for the kind words.
