Better Late Than Never Hello all LS1 Fans...I bought my black 69Z in the spring of 79...never restored or pulled apart til this past winter/spring..ground up resto and mods on the way..body and primer almost complete.Crate LS376/515 and TR6060 Super Magnum from GMPP sitting in the wings.Upgrades to suspension,brakes,exhaust sys.,wheel/tire combo., all forthcoming and I am excited as a teenager! I have been reading many,many posts of 1st gen projects with great interest and in hopes of attaining my ultimate goal. I totally respect and get the myriad of choices/solutions/suggestions from the knowledgeable members. Being an old school image guy with a wide open mind to what have you.. I look forward to any and all critiques and possibilities with regards to my build.Being in my early 60's and young at heart I figure betterlatethannever attitude to create my dream for cruising the highways and streets of Alberta for the duration! Yes indeed.. memories of first seeing the ' old black beauty ' being illuminated by a single 60 watt bulb in a single stall garage in 1979 will be ingrained in my brain ! I too get off on the new models of Camaros also...good for you and keep the shiny side up !
