Hi all.

I recently picked up a very clean 04 Mustang GT roller.

My plan is to buy a truck or van and swap the entire engine bay over, trans as well. Thinking it'll be an LM7 but a LQ4 would be nice.

Ive done alot of research on here but I'm still confused if I should go gen 3 or gen 4.

I know gen 4 can handle a bit more power and better tuning capability, but i read the gen 3 is a easier swap by not having drive-by-wire and whatnot. I cant seem to find a positive answer when the gen 4 motor came in the trucks and vans.

I plan to add valve springs, replace the timing chain, oil pump, and a turbo cam. I want to drive the car a bit to fix any loose ends, then add some boost.
