Hey hey,


I on here because I heard this was the place for all things LS, and so far, I'm not impressed. HAHAHAAAA just kidding.

I'll try to be brief, but I had my '08 Tahoe decide it no longer needed the #2 piston, or connecting rod, or intake and exhaust valve. Oh yeah, or the valve spring. And it made that decision on.....well you guessed it, Father's Day. So, I'm going to yank a junkyard LS, 5.3L or 6.0L (whichever is the better deal), and put a turbo on it.


So, that's the short version of the story. Also, I live in the Des Moines, Ia. area if any body knows any body around there, and wouldn't mind tossing around some ideas.


I don't feel like clouding the intro with all the details (also, I don't have every detail covered), but I'm aiming at your typical 550-600hp at the crank, and near that in torque. Daily Driver build, with reliability a high priority.
