Default New to 4th gens.

My name is Josh Critchfield and I live in Chester, VA. I bought a 94 camaro z28 6 speed a few months and have been loving everh minute of it. Until it started to overjeat which I still trying to diagnose lol. I have had 2 3rd gen camaros before so I thought I should plunge into a 4th gen. All I can say is that 4th gens are just about better in every way than my 3rd gens. But anyways I am married and have a son with a wife who is actually understands my sickness of always wanting to work on my car. I am also going to school to become a mechanic. Sorry if this was too long. I look forword to using this forum. I have heard and read great things about it.

Check the thermostat housing and the water pump. A small crack in them will cause a drop in pressure and allow the water to boil faster. This will cause the car to overheat. I had this happen on my 2005 GTO. (Similar drive train setup.) It turned out to be a crack in the thermostat housing that was so small I couldn't see it. $30 later and I was good to go.
