Into Hello,
Bill from Plymouth MN. Have a 78 corvette which I've owned for about 11 years. Been maintaining/fixing. Not afraid to do most of the work myself, or at least give it shot. Now that we are empty nesters we would like to drive the car in all of the lower 48 and as many provinces as we can (bucket list). But....the L48 is a dog. Have always thought about swapping the engine/trans for a LS?? Really don't need crazy HP, would be nice to be able to do a burn out, but we just want to enjoy it, have the confidence in the car to jump in an go. Been at the Corvette Forum for 10 year and read posts with link to this forum. Been reading up on the swapping and getting closer to pulling the trigger.
