New guy here-
Hoping I am in the right forum, have been reading up a lot and am looking forward to any and all advice.
My uncle is coming up this weekend from Georgia and bringing up his OBS C1500. I always loved it growing up as a kid and his sons have no interest in keeping it, so he is giving it to me. Has the 305 V8 with about 230k on it.
I have been looking into an LM7 swap.
It will be a daily driver for me but I also want to add some hp.
Any input for as to what the best bang for the buck modifications are is greatly appreciated.
It needs a paint job for sure, ideally I'd be all in this truck for around 5k. But I am a newbie, and may be way off!
