New guy with a Volvo Hello everyone. My name is Darrin. I purchased an 87 Volvo 240 last December with the intent of doing an engine swap. Spent some months just enjoying driving it around and learning about the vehicle itself. I originally planned on going with a SBC but the allure of the LS is just too hard to pass up haha.
I haven't swapped a motor in about 12 years, so I'm definitely out of touch with the process. I'm in my last month of deployment now and I'm just doing my research and collecting parts slowly. I can't believe the amount of info on this forum, it's ridiculous.
Anyway, hopefully I can contribute to the community soon.
