Hello from central VA I have been a GM guy since I could drive but I like other things too....namely Mercedes AMG. To me they are like German Muscle cars since they also believe in large displacement v8's. I don't have an Ls1 persea but a variant. I have a Ls6 in my Z06. Love it!
Pictured are my Z06 and my CLK 55 AMG. Both are from 2001, both were/are icons when they were released. Once bitter rivals in the Le Mans circuit now joined forces for yours truly. I very recently got the Z06 so not alot done to it yet; I have had the CLK 5 years and you can tell from the number of changes made to it!
They each have their strengths and weaknesses. The vette can roast the benz like a peanut in top end and 1/4 but the merc can bend the laws of physics in the corners; that 5 link rear suspension is so good! Eventually I will try to even them out. One getting more power and the other getting better handling and braking.
Now I always have something to drive while I modify the other one!
