New from Hamilton Ohio
Hi Guys,
Just a quick hello before I post about my 5.3LS build in the Gen 3 Internal Engine forum.
I am currently building said engine from the ground up to learn as much as I can about the LS engine family.
I am 49 years old and have been a huge car nut my whole life.
My first big engine project about 10 years ago was to rebuild a 1992 BMW 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine from a junkyard engine. That went well and the new owner drove the car from Ohio to Colorado with no problems.
My next project about 5 years ago was putting a Mustang 5.0 into a 1992 Mazda Miata. That was a good learning experience and a year or so later I sold that car to a guy in Kansas.
Now it is time to move up to the computer controlled LS engine and learn as much as I can before I drop the engine into something yet to be determined. Possibly my girlfriends 2000 3 series BMW, possibly a RX8 or maybe a Jag.
see you in the forums.
Damon
