FNG Here! Been creeping on other people's posts/threads for a while, finally decided to register.
I'm a fan of most makes, but been on a big BMW kick recently. In my driveway I have:
BMW Unicorn (E91, 6speed, RWD)
BMW E38 740i
BMW E38 740iL (Parts car and trans donor)
BMW E36 M3/4/5
BMW E36 M3 LS Swap (GMW 360?)
VW '69 Beetle
and my wife's Ford Fusion company car, and her GMC Acadia that I need to sell
The reason I joined is because of the LS swap I'm doing to the M3.
I picked up a totalled '03 GMC Savana just for the LQ4 6.0 engine. Got the engine rebuilt and put in a stage 1 Comp Cam, paired up to a T-56.. with the new cam and a tune I'm hoping to reach 450-475hp.
Street car, but planning to get a little track time in- which will be a first for me.
Glad to be here, learning a lot! I'm not a mechanic but i like to think i know my way around a car pretty well. I do all my own repairs when possible- thats the only way I'm able to afford these cars! Also, I'm a chef, and live in Mpls, MN
