New to LS engines Figured I would post here to introduce a noobie. Brand new to LS world, or Chevy in general. I have a 408W stroker in a fox mustang right now, but honestly after driving my '18 Silverado off the lot, you guys are clearly onto something...
I am hoping I can look to you guys for guidance, stuff like what heads, what is what as far as cathedral vs square port, etc etc..I will search before I ask, however, I do find a fresh thread on a old topic can bring new ideas, especially for someone who does not fully understand it
I have never actually built an engine myself (helped with the 408), so going to give it a try LS wise. I don't have a car chosen as to what it will go into yet, but can build it first and worry about it later. 99-04 Mustang into a 03/04 Cobra clone, E36 Bimmer, 300ZX are cars that I have tossed around. I know my way around a fox chassis and the swap appears to be the 'easiest', so the 99-04 will most likely be it.
