New guy, First LS build New guy, Despite my join date,. Joined one day a while back for a single question. Now, have an LQ4 i plan on building to swap into a GM big body wagon. Gonna build the motor first, then buy the car to drop it in. Lots of Newbie questions will be coming most likely. Not new to mechanics or engines, just new to builds on V-8s. Did small engines (ATV's) for years making big power.
Hoping to learn a lot and build a nasty street engine along the way.

I don't care what anybody say's these days . . . station wagons are cool. Loads of space, easy for passenger loading and unloading. My only regret is that there are not very many drive-in movie theaters around anymore for a wagon to be even more useful.
I'm crossing my fingers that its a big GM A-body wagon. Edit: I had my eye on a big Buick Roadmaster wagon a while back but it had been picked over for parts too much.

A-body is the dream, B-body is more likely the reality.
If i could choose what i want, A body is first choice. always loved Chevelle's, so why not one in a wagon. But when it comes to buying one, i am on a pretty tight budget for this whole thing so an 80's or 90's B body can be had for pretty cheap.
Going to get the motor ready, then look for the car to stick it in after the motor is done, and give me a little more time to find the right deal.

Saw the same article. Hot Rod did a write up on it, Holley is using it as a Test bed for turbo parts. 1974 chevelle wagon. Not my ideal body style, but i'd rock almost any GM big body wagon.
